Speaker: Hilary Godwin, UW School of Public Health
This talk will be an overview of key health trends in the United States, Washington State and Kitsap County and how these compare to other parts of the US and the globe. Hilary will discuss what the evidence tells us we can do collectively to create healthier communities in Washington State. And she’ll provide some tips for a taking prevention-based approach to improving your personal health and well-being.

Hilary Godwin has served as dean of the University of Washington School of Public Health since 2018 and has been a happy resident of Bainbridge Island since July 2020. She is deeply committed to promoting the health of all people, locally and globally.
